It Begins Within

Meditation isn’t about escaping life. It's an invitation to meet it more fully.

It’s an active practice of self-development, a return to clarity, and inner calm.

Explore Rina's Mantras

Mantra comes from the Sanskrit meaning “a tool for the mind” — a sacred sound that steadies attention and opens the doorway to inner stillness.

Awareness is the Doorway Inward

Many of us have lost the skill of trusting what our body, rational mind, and intuitive mind are telling us.

I want people to find ways to tap into this beautiful tool that each of us is born with.

Hi, I’m Rina, a meditator, mantra artist, and mindfulness teacher. My music and meditations explore the meeting point between ancient wisdom and the modern mind.

A Venn diagram with circles labeled Mindfulness, Guided Imagery, and Sensory Awareness; their intersection—Presence—illustrates how meditation practices like using a mantra can unify these elements.

My Meditation Philosophy

My practice integrates mindfulness, guided imagery, and sensory awareness to help you reconnect with yourself and find ways to:

Becoming Rina Rain

Black and white photo of a smiling woman with long, light hair wearing a white shirt, necklace, and watch, looking upwards with her hand touching her neck—capturing a peaceful moment as if in mantra meditation.

I was born in Lithuania as one of five kids in a loving and musical household. All of us played instruments, and I found my own form of rhythm in sports, becoming a professional athlete at just 14. But it didn’t take long to realize that chasing trophies wasn’t the same as chasing fulfillment.

As a first-generation college student, I was taught from early on that education was the foundation of a meaningful life. I completed my undergraduate studies in engineering and continued with graduate studies in executive coaching. I felt truly blessed as many of my lifelong dreams came true. I got what I believed would make me happy. Yet beneath every success and cultural label, I found myself still searching for meaning.

A sandy beach with gentle waves under a cloudy sky at sunset invites meditation, while a rocky cliff rests on the right side of the image.
A Buddha statue with a beaded necklace sits on a wooden surface beside a burning candle, incense stick, sage bundle, and a small bowl—creating a peaceful meditation space for mantra practice.

Traveling the world stirred my quest for something deeper. In 2005, while living in New York, I began a decades-long transformational journey, becoming a certified coach, guiding others through career transitions, the pursuit of happiness, and the discovery of life’s purpose. Helping others uncover their passions illuminated my own — the longing for direct experience of inner freedom.

After years of attending retreats, trainings, and immersing myself in teachings from great spiritual masters, I began to see a paradox: the more I sought wisdom outside myself, the more alone I felt inside. This was my rollercoaster of spiritual bypassing. I avoided the present moment in pursuit of enlightenment.

A large brass gong on an ornate wooden stand sits on a wooden deck, surrounded by potted plants and outdoor furniture—an inviting space for meditation or reciting a calming mantra.

The truth was so much closer than I was willing to see. Everything I was looking for already lay within. I just needed to find a way to access it. The journey inward to silence, the one we often resist, became my greatest challenge and my deepest teacher. Going within was the only way out.

In 2012, I became a secular guided meditation teacher in Lithuania, continued this work in the United Kingdom, and later, upon return to the United States in 2015, expanded even further.

A person with blonde hair sits cross-legged on a sandy beach, deep in meditation as they watch the sunset over the ocean, waves gently rolling and a rocky hill in the background.
A woman sits cross-legged on a bench outdoors, eyes closed in meditation, quietly repeating a mantra near a large bell with inscriptions.

Today, I am a mantra artist and meditation teacher. My work brings all of those threads together: music, curiosity, mindfulness, and a relentless pursuit to live from inner truth.

As a lifelong seeker, I believe it’s possible to awaken to the unfolding freedom within. My hope is to help others experience this awareness, just like many teachers have shown me all along: It begins within…
