Soothing Self-Talk: Inner Dialogue Reset

$14.99

Soothe your mind, feel your feelings, and gently let go. A soft meditation to release emotional weight and return to inner calm.

Description

Self Talk is a guided journey designed to help you meet the deeper emotions stored in your body while learning to connect with your brain in a new, more supportive way. In this practice, you slow down, locate the emotion you’ve been carrying, and bring gentle awareness to the sensations and stories surrounding it. Through compassionate inner dialogue, you begin soothing the mind’s instinct to resist or protect you, shifting from old patterns of avoidance and fear into understanding and acceptance. By acknowledging the emotion without judgment and speaking to it with clarity and kindness, you dissolve its energetic charge and allow it to move back toward the heart with softness, insight, and love — creating a new relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and inner self.

• A deeper understanding of the emotion you’ve been holding
• Relief from long-held emotional tension or inner conflict
• A softening of fear, judgment, or avoidance
• Stronger connection to your inner voice and higher self
• A sense of inner reconciliation and emotional clarity
• Greater capacity to feel without being overwhelmed
• A return to compassion, acceptance, and inner stability

This meditation blends mindfulness, somatic awareness, emotional exposure, guided inner dialogue, and self-compassion practices — an evidence-supported approach shown to reduce emotional reactivity, regulate the nervous system, and transform internal patterns of self-relating.

  • Emotional labeling to gently name and acknowledge inner sensations, reducing distress and limbic activation (Lieberman et al., 2007)
  • Somatic awareness to tune into the body’s subtle signals and release fear-based reactivity through interoceptive presence (Schubiner & Lumley, 2019)
  • Mindful observation to notice resistance or avoidance without being overwhelmed, creating space for clarity and emotional regulation (Farb et al., 2015)
  • Guided inner dialogue to shift automatic threat responses and soften self-judgment through intentional, compassionate self-talk (Gilbert, 2014)
  • Heart-center integration to bring the emotion into a field of warmth, acceptance, and coherence, supporting deep emotional transformation (Newberg & Waldman, 2016)

Together, these elements dissolve emotional charge, restore inner stability, and strengthen your capacity to meet difficult feelings with steadiness, courage, and compassion.

Getting Started

Q: How do I begin if I’m new to meditation?
A: Start with just a few minutes a day. Choose a meditation that feels gentle and settle into a comfortable position. Let the practice meet you where you are — there’s no right or wrong way to begin.

Q: When is the best time to meditate?
A: Any time you can show up consistently. Mornings tend to feel grounding and clarifying. Evenings help release the day and settle the nervous system. Choose the time that best supports your life, and let the practice grow from there.

Q: How long should I meditate?
A: Recommended at least 15 minutes a day 5 days a week. You can start small. Even 5–10 minutes can shift your state. As your practice deepens, you may naturally want more time. What matters most is consistency, not duration.

Q: Do I need headphones?
A: Headphones are recommended for a more immersive experience, but not required. Use whatever helps you feel relaxed.

Q: How often should I listen?
A: As often as feels supportive. Some people listen daily, others return when they need grounding or clarity.

Q: Can I listen while driving or multitasking?
A: No. Please use meditations only when you can give your full attention and are not operating a vehicle or machinery.

Q: What if meditation brings up uncomfortable emotions?
A: This can happen. If it does, pause, breathe, and allow yourself to become present with what you’re feeling. When you’re ready, return gently to the guided meditation or choose a grounding practice that helps you feel supported. You may also explore the resources listed on this page for additional guidance and care.

Q: Can meditation have adverse effects?
A: Occasionally, yes — some people may experience strong emotions or sensations. Listen to your body and consult a healthcare provider if you have any medical or psychological conditions. You may also explore the resources listed on this page for additional guidance and care.

Q: Is meditation helpful for anxiety or trauma?
A: Meditation can support therapy, not replace it. Listen to your body and consult a healthcare provider if you have any medical or psychological conditions. You may also explore the resources listed on this page for additional guidance and care. Start with shorter, grounding sessions and go at your own pace.

Q: What if I fall asleep during meditation?
A: Falling asleep is completely normal — it often means your body is relaxing after carrying too much tension. There’s nothing wrong with it. With time, you’ll stay awake more easily as your nervous system becomes more regulated.

Q: Should I meditate if I’m feeling overwhelmed or anxious?
A: Short, guided practices with grounding cues are often helpful in moments of overwhelm. If you feel activated or destabilized, pause the meditation, reconnect through the senses, and return when you’re ready. For ongoing anxiety or trauma, meditation can complement, but not replace therapeutic support.

Q: What if my mind doesn’t stop thinking?
A: That’s completely natural. Gently notice the thoughts without judgment and return to your breath and the guidance. Coming back to the present moment again and again is the practice itself — it’s how the mind gradually learns to settle, focus, and soften into greater clarity.

Becoming Rina Rain

Black and white photo of a smiling woman with long, light hair wearing a white shirt, necklace, and watch, looking upwards with her hand touching her neck—capturing a peaceful moment as if in mantra meditation.

I was born in Lithuania as one of five kids in a loving and musical household. All of us played instruments, and I found my own form of rhythm in sports, becoming a professional athlete at just 14. But it didn’t take long to realize that chasing trophies wasn’t the same as chasing fulfillment.

As a first-generation college student, I was taught from early on that education was the foundation of a meaningful life. I completed my undergraduate studies in engineering and continued with graduate studies in executive coaching. I felt truly blessed as many of my lifelong dreams came true. I got what I believed would make me happy. Yet beneath every success and cultural label, I found myself still searching for meaning.

A sandy beach with gentle waves under a cloudy sky at sunset invites meditation, while a rocky cliff rests on the right side of the image.
A Buddha statue with a beaded necklace sits on a wooden surface beside a burning candle, incense stick, sage bundle, and a small bowl—creating a peaceful meditation space for mantra practice.

Traveling the world stirred my quest for something deeper. In 2005, while living in New York, I began a decades-long transformational journey, becoming a certified coach, guiding others through career transitions, the pursuit of happiness, and the discovery of life’s purpose. Helping others uncover their passions illuminated my own — the longing for direct experience of inner freedom.

After years of attending retreats, trainings, and immersing myself in teachings from great spiritual masters, I began to see a paradox: the more I sought wisdom outside myself, the more alone I felt inside. This was my rollercoaster of spiritual bypassing. I avoided the present moment in pursuit of enlightenment.

A large brass gong on an ornate wooden stand sits on a wooden deck, surrounded by potted plants and outdoor furniture—an inviting space for meditation or reciting a calming mantra.

The truth was so much closer than I was willing to see. Everything I was looking for already lay within. I just needed to find a way to access it. The journey inward to silence, the one we often resist, became my greatest challenge and my deepest teacher. Going within was the only way out.

In 2012, I became a secular guided meditation teacher in Lithuania, continued this work in the United Kingdom, and later, upon return to the United States in 2015, expanded even further.

A person with blonde hair sits cross-legged on a sandy beach, deep in meditation as they watch the sunset over the ocean, waves gently rolling and a rocky hill in the background.
A woman sits cross-legged on a bench outdoors, eyes closed in meditation, quietly repeating a mantra near a large bell with inscriptions.

Today, I am a mantra artist and meditation teacher. My work brings all of those threads together: music, curiosity, mindfulness, and a relentless pursuit to live from inner truth.

As a lifelong seeker, I believe it’s possible to awaken to the unfolding freedom within. My hope is to help others experience this awareness, just like many teachers have shown me all along: It begins within…

With deep gratitude to my family, friends, all my teachers, students, and fellow explorers,
